HM King congratulated by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the SCW.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim highlighted that the SCW is a national institution marked by milestones achieved by Bahraini women and has become a pioneering model with a recognised presence at the local, regional and international levels in the fields of institutional work and strategic planning. Her Royal Highness noted that this has been made possible through the support and vision of His Majesty the King, which is a source of pride for every Bahraini woman and reflects His Majesty’s foresight in advancing the role of women and enabling their contributions across various domains of progress and development in the Kingdom.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim underscored the contributions of Bahraini women to the Kingdom's progress, their recognised humanitarian role in building society, and the broad horizons they have reached in achievement, creativity and innovation. Her Royal Highness emphasised that these achievements were made possible through the constant support of His Majesty the King, and with the government’s efforts, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to integrate women into national development plans and empower them as essential partners in the Kingdom’s development.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim pledged to His Majesty the King that the SCW will continue implementing programmes and initiatives, establishing successful partnerships with local, regional and international institutions, and working with determination to translate His Majesty’s vision into reality by advancing Bahraini women towards greater leadership and excellence. Her Royal Highness stressed the SCW's commitment to supporting women in fulfilling their ambitions, believing in their abilities and competencies across all domains, so that they continue to contribute alongside men and affirm their active role and distinctive presence in national development, contributing to the Kingdom’s growth and prosperity.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim wished His Majesty the King prolong life to continue supporting Bahraini women and to achieve further progress and prosperity for the Kingdom.
